Rogue Perfumery is an indie fragrance house rooted in rebellion, artistry, and olfactory history. We craft unapologetically bold scents that defy modern conformity; scents built for fragrance lovers who crave authenticity, story, and impact. Manuel Cross, founder and nose of Rogue Perfumery never planned to be a perfumer. He worked as a chef for 25 years with such notable icons as Wolfgang Puck, Neal Fraser, Lee Hefter and Matt Bencivenga. Manuel believes there’s a strong correlation between food and fragrance. Manuel Cross began his path to perfumery in 2005, when one of his favorite colognes was discontinued. His interest was piqued and at that moment a “hobby” evolved into a notable career. Today, Manuel is recognized for his unique "rogue" signature. As a self-taught perfumer, Manuel doesn’t follow in anyone’s footsteps. Guided by instinct and a relentless pursuit of beauty, he is redefining artisan perfumery for those who refuse the ordinary.

Mousse Illuminee Grand Cru

Rogue Reserve Mousse Illuminée Grand Cru An all-natural reinterpretation of Mousse Illuminée. Limited release. 30 ml Extrait Naturel. Mousse Illuminée Grand Cru is the inaugural fragrance of the Rogue Reserve line. It is a concentrated all-natural study built around treemoss, frankincense, champaca, rose, absinthe, and cypress. It is not a reproduction of the original Eau de Toilette, but a deeper and more natural rendering of its spirit. It is greener, richer, more resinous, and quietly radiant. Olfactive Character Mossy, incense-laced, floral, bitter-green... of the forest. A chypre structure recast entirely through natural materials. Tuberose & Moss

Targhee Forest

Olfactory profile: Woody | Mossy | Amber Targhee Forest centers on the moment when the morning sun begins warming the pine trees and a resinous, sweet musk-like fragrance begins to fill the air. The aroma of the moist forest soil mingles with the scent of the silvery carpet of sagebrush covering the nearby hills. Venturing deeper into Targhee Forest, the fragrance of rich, woody cedar and lush oakmoss is grounding, soothing and uplifting. As an artisan perfumer and a dad of two rambunctious boys I spend most of my day indoors and do not have time to think. I sometimes feel isolated once I go into my studio in the wee hours of the night. When it all seems too much, I head to Caribou- Targhee National Forest, a short drive from my house. I leave stress behind and spend time with nature. The silence of the forest cuts me off from the commotion at home as if the commotion had never begun. This is a primal silence that centers me.
